 Artist Statement

My work is realistic oil painting on canvas. I aim for a  balance of true nature, and movement, concepts integrated with a good oil painting technique. They are a reflection of my own values for truth, beauty,   and love that God's gives us each day.

Every painting is  a  challenge,   a passion that I approach with a disciplined intention to make every painting better than the one before, indifferent to what is in style in the art world at the moment.

I am moved by an interior voice that reflects positive, transparent, passionate and  happy feelings which I express through my brave compositions in a combination of my admiration for flowers, my passion for painting and a deep study of the subject.

My purpose as an artist is to brighten the lives of people and their spaces with interesting artwork.
